DOLLY SCRUB HUB

It’s the end of Fashion Revolution Week and the end of our 3rd week at DOLLY SCRUB HUB. DOLLY Clothing’s mission before coronavirus was to raise awareness of the role our clothes play in the climate crisis. During this pandemic we have shifted our focus from clothes that protect the planet, to clothes that protect us from COVID 19.

Clothes are one of our defences against this virus and are playing a vital role in a way I

couldn’t have possibly imagined 4 weeks ago.

The DOLLY collective and over 180 home sewers have made it our duty and mission to help provide desperately needed scrubs to NHS staff and care workers.

The DOLLY collective and over 180 home sewers have made it our duty and mission to help provide desperately needed scrubs to NHS staff and care workers.

We are volunteering our expertise, skill, time to what we are now calling the DOLLY Scrub Hub and are servicing hospitals and clinics throughout Sussex.

I feel privileged to work with so many truly amazing sewers and to be part of this local revolution which I hope sends ripples all around the world.
