Clothes Swap Rules:

1. Slow. It. Down. We’ll have timed slots and refresh the swaps at intervals, so there will always be ‘new’ clothes on the rails. So no frenzied rush, no sharp elbows, no snatch & grab.

2. No thinking about money! We charge a set fee for the SWAP because swapping instead of shopping gives us the opportunity to think about the true cost of our clothing. The value of each garment lies in how much you love it, wear it and keep it.

3. It’s a social, not a shop The best thing about a clothes swap is that it’s a lovely safe space to experiment and enjoy clothes in a new way. Diana and her team of alteration experts and seamsters will be on hand to talk you through endless possibilities for making your new-to-you gems your own. We’re all super chatty - just giving you fair warning ;)

Here’s how it works:

• Grab yourself a ticket and choose a time slot

• Drop off your swaps at DOLLY beforehand or bring them with you. We’ll manage the garments so the rails are replenished constantly throughout the swap.

• Come to DOLLY and browse the collection of good quality clothes looking for a new life. Take home anything you promise to keep in circulation, wear and love.

• Like all DOLLY swaps, it’s 'bring what you can, take what you like'. But we encourage you to consider what you take, chat to us and get free advice on alterations and tweaks.
