For this International Women's Day we will be joining the Clean Clothes Campaign on
Tuesday 25th March for an online event to celebrate 4 incredible women who are fighting for labour rights of garment workers.
Did you know that of the people who make our clothes in the fashion industry around 80% are women. Their skilled work often goes unrecognised and is undervalued. They often work in unsafe, unhealthy conditions, and are not earning the living wage. These are all recognised by the UN as a human right.
"Gender discrimination runs deep throughout all of the countries in which garments are currently produced. Women are frequently subjected to verbal and physical abuse and sexual harassment" Clean Clothes Campaign
We invite you to join us in a collective goal to create a clothing economy based on profound respect and dignity for all.
